Restoran Marco Polo
One site for three restaurants, a motel and a catering service in Brčko, where each place has its own page with everything a guest needs.
The Challenge
One name, three addresses
Marco Polo opened in 2016 as a restaurant and pizzeria in the centre of Brčko. An ethno restaurant in the woods on the slopes of Majevica followed in 2018, and in 2025 a motel with a restaurant on the road to Bijeljina. Marco Polo also caters weddings, celebrations and company events at the guest's own venue.
Each place has its own address, opening hours, phone numbers and menu. There's something for every guest: families look for lunch in nature, drivers for a room. The ethno restaurant is outside the city, so first-time guests also need to know how to get there.
The brief came down to three goals:
- Give every place its own page, under one brand.
- Make every place easy to call and easy to find.
- Turn interest in catering into a request for an offer.
The Approach
-
One brand, a page for every place
The home page introduces the whole brand. The Restaurants menu leads to the city and ethno restaurants, and the motel has a menu item of its own, added at Marco Polo's request. The base is the same on all three pages, so guests always know where to find the phone number or the menu. What sets a place apart gets a section of its own: four spaces and the woodland walk at the ethno restaurant, rooms and breakfast at the motel.
Each gallery shows ten photos, and the rest open full screen, where guests can browse through them. When someone shares one of the pages in a Viber or WhatsApp group, the preview shows that place's own photo and name.
-
A phone number and the way there
Every location page starts with that place's phone numbers and an address that opens in Google Maps. The footer of every page lists the address, hours and phones of each place and of the catering team.
The ethno restaurant is outside the city, in the woods in the village of Potočari, so a "How to get here" button sits in the header. It opens a video of the whole drive from the town to the restaurant.
-
From the packages to a request for an offer
The catering page shows three packages, each building on the last. The first is a cold buffet served on Marco Polo's tables, the second adds hot dishes, and the third the whole setup, from tents, tables and chairs to fridges and waiters. The rows line up across the cards, so they read as a comparison. A note under them says the price depends on what guests want and how many are coming.
The "Request an offer" button opens a choice of call, WhatsApp or Viber, with the numbers written out for anyone on a computer. Each package also has its own photos.
Where It Stands
Ten years after its first restaurant, all of Marco Polo is on one site.
If it opens a new place, that place will get a page built from the same parts, plus whatever sets it apart.
We make every change, from opening hours to new photos. Next are "How to get here" videos for the other two places, once Marco Polo sends the footage.
